About Me
In my time in the industry I have seen and done a lot; from working in hotels setting up slide projectors to doing rider fulfillment for A-list entertainers. I've produced events for Nike, GlaxoSmithKline, Westin Hotels, State Farm and many others. The venues included hotel ballrooms, cruise ships, airplane hangers, city streets, open fields, tents, and convention centers. Along the way I have seen hundreds of presentations on a variety of topics in a wide array of industries ranging from customer service to the value of checklists and personal branding to improving your memory.
In my blog I'll share the highlights of what I learned along the way, thoughts on the industry as well as segments from presentations I have given to many organizations over the years.

Bill also spent 3 years as an adjunct professor at Kendall College teaching the course “Large Meetings and Events” using PCMA’s textbook Professional Meeting Management and is a regular guest lecturer at Roosevelt University’s Manfred Steinfeld School of Hospitality Management.
In addition to the above, Bill was:
- A Producer for the "John Records Landecker" morning show on WAGO - 105.9FM
- The owner of a mobile DJ company
- The house DJ at a Chicago nightclub
- A freelance sound engineer and stage manager
